Following several people bringing dogs into Tamworth Shoppingworld under the guise of the dog being an emotional Support Animal, Centre Management feel the need to highlight our rules regarding animals.

Unfortunately over the past few months, more and more people have been bringing animals into the centre stating they are support animals when they are clearly not. A condition of entry is animals are not allowed (as displayed at our entrances).

We are required to allow Seeing Eye Dogs and Assistance Dogs in this shopping centre. An Assistance dog is an animal that has been trained to carry out a certain task that assists a person with a disability. These dogs are accredited (certified), and the owner or handler needs to provide proof of accreditation when requested. If you are unable to provide proof of accreditation, you may be asked to remove the animal from the centre.

Support dogs are not assistance dogs, and as such, should not be brought into this centre at any time.
